Chromosome inversions in natural populations ofCeironomus Dorsalis

Summary

The results are given of a study of inversion frequencies in a number of populations ofChironomus dorsalis in England and Scotland. Some of the samples were from rain-tubs, and the populations from which they were taken may have been small. This may in part account for the deviations from expectation which were found in some of the inversion frequencies.
