Occurrence of a variant of cucumber green mottle mosaic virus in ISRAEL

Abstract

A virus was isolated from naturally infected melons and squirting cucumber(Ecballium elaterium (L.) Rich) plants collected in the northern part of Israel. Some data are presented on the biological, serological and physical properties of the virus, which was identified as a variant of cucumber green mottle mosaic virus.
