Abstract
The occurrence of the predatory flyCoenosia attenuata (Stein, 1903) is reported for the first time in Turkey. The population dynamics of the fly in irrigated cotton fields in the eastern Mediterranean region of Turkey is described, and the role ofC. attenuata as a biological control agent in the agroecosystem is discussed.
