Les auteurs rapportent 4 cas de polype fibroïde inflammatoire du tube digestif et revoient la littérature concernant cette lésion tumorale rare et bénigne. Cette tumeur semble résulter d’une réaction inflammatoire exubérante caractérisée par l’abondance de polynucléaires éosinophiles.
Summary
The authors report 4 cases of inflammatory fibroid polyps of the gastrointestinal tract and review the literature concerning this rare and benign tumor. This lesion seems to be the result of an exuberant inflammatory reaction characterized by the abundance of eosinophils.

Los autores aportan 4 casos de pólipo fibroide inflamatorio del tubo digestivo y revisan la literatura relativa a ésta lesión tumoral, a la vez rara y benigna. Este tumor parece ser consecuencia de una reacción inflamatoria exuberante caracterizada por la abundancia de polinucleares eosinófilos.
