Esophageal ulcers associated with pinaverium bromide treatment

Résumé

Deux patientes présentent des brûlures épigastriques et une dysphagie après absorption de bromure de pinaverium.

L’endoscopie a retrouvé dans les deux cas des ulcérations aiguës de l’œsophage qui ont régressé après arrêt du médicament.

Summary

Two patients experience heart-burn and dysphagia after oral intake of bromure of pinaverium.

In these two cases endoscopy displayed acute ulcerations which healed after discontinuing the drug.
