Résumé

L'apport de l'endoscopie dans l'étude fondamentale dela physiopathologie gastrique est estimée en revoyant les données actuelles relatives à la méthodologie. Les résultats et les limites de l'évaluation du système gastrinique par le comptage des cellules G antrales ainsi que le dosage de la gastrine tissulaire, sont examinés et discutés.

Summary

The contribution of endoscopy in the basic study of gastric physiopathology has been evaluated by reviewing the present data related to the methodology. The results and the limits of the evaluation of the gastrinic system by means of antrum G cell counting and tissue gastrin measurement have been examined and discussed.
