Résumé
Les lésions histologiques de l'appendice chez 22 patients opérés de maladie de Crohn ont été comparées avec des lésions observées chez 22 patients soumis à une appendicectomie pour appendicite aiguë.
L'appendice était anormal chez tous les patients porteurs de maladie de Crohn. Dans 3 cas (13 %), des granulomes ont été objectivés. Dans les autres cas, les lésions n'étaient pas spécifiques.
Summary
The histological lesions of the appendix of 22 patients operated for Crohn's disease were evaluated and compared with the lesions found in 22 patients operated for acute appendicitis. In all patients with Crohn's disease the appendix was abnormal. In three cases (13%) granulomas were found. In the other cases the lesions were non specific.
