En conclusion

Pour qui?: chez tout malade suspect de pathologie lithiasique chez lequel une échographie de bonne qualité est normale.

Quand?: chez un malade ayant une alimentation orale, c’est-à-dire en dehors d’une période de jeûne prolongé, notamment au cours d’une pancréatite aiguë.

Comment?: c’est un examen apparemment facile qui doit cependant être soigneux.

In conclusion

For whom ?: in patients with suspected gallbladder lithiasis and normal good quality conventional ultrasonography.

When ?: in patients not fasting (particularly whose with recent acute pancreatitis).

How ?: gallbladder examination is usually easy but should be carefully performed.
