Endoscopic treatment of a leiomyoblastoma of the stomach

Résumé

Les auteurs rapportent un cas de léiomyoblastome gastrique responsable ďune obstruction pylorique chez un patient âgé. Cette tumeur a pu bénéficier ďune exérèse endoscopique permettant ďune part le diagnostic histologique exact, ďautre part la disparition des signes cliniques. Les difficultés diagnostiques et ľincertitude évolutive des téiomyoblastomes sont soulignées.

Summary

We report a case of leiomyoblastoma of the stomach successfully treated by endoscopic resection in a 80 year old man presenting with pyloric obstruction resolutive after ablation. Diagnostic difficulties and incertitude of evolution are discussed.
