Ponction-biopsie guidée sous échoendoscopie: mise au point

An appraisal of endoscopic ultrasonography-guided fine-needle biopsy

  • Published:
Acta Endoscopica

Conclusion

Conclusion

The technique is simple and easily executed after some training in sectorial EU. At present, it is possible to obtain in about 80 % of cases, histological material allowing tissue identification. The best indications are the mediastinal masses and adenopathies, coeliac adenopathies, small pancreatic tumours and extrinsic compressions of the digestive tract.
