Intestinal subocclusion due to submucosal colonic lipoma. A case report

Résumé

Les auteurs rapportent un cas de volumineux lipome sous-muqueux du côlon sigmoïde. L’intérêt de l’observation réside dans le caractère brusque et la récurrence des crises de subocclusion intestinale.

Le diagnostic histologique a été établi sur la pièce de résection chirurgicale.

Summary

This is a case report of a large submucosal lipoma in the sigmoid colon. Its clinical interest lies in the sudden onset as recurrent abdominal subocclusive episodes.

The histological diagnosis was ascertained on the surgical specimen.
