RÉsumÉ
Les auteurs ont comparé les indications de la laparoscopie dans deux séries d’examens effectués avant et après l’l’introduction de la ponction percutanée échoguidée à l’aiguille fine.
Après emploi de cette dernière technique, le nombre de laparoscopies pour diagnostic de métastases hépatiques a été réduit de façon significative et le nombre de laparoscopies pratiquées pour diagnostic d’hépatopathies chroniques a augmenté de façon correspondante.
Summary
We compared the indications of two series of laparoscopies performed before and after the introduction in our service of percutaneous ultrasonically guided fine needle biopsy.
After we began to use this technique, the number of laparoscopies performed to diagnose hepatic metastases became significantly lower; at the same time laparoscopies performed to type chronic hepatopathies increased.
