Irish Journal of Medical Science Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

Cytogenetic studies were performed on both partners of 84 couples with a history of two or more spontaneous abortions. A gross chromosomal abnormality was identified in five of these couples. Four balanced translocation carriers were detected (46,XY,t(6:14), 46,XX,t(10:17), 46,XX,t(2:7) and 45XX,t (14:21) plus one female with sex chromosome mosaicism 46,XX/47,XXX.
