Osteonecrosis of the femoral head following treatment for Hodgkin’s disease

Summary

Osteonecrosis of the right femoral head is described in a patient with stage III B Hodgkin’s disease treated with combination chemotherapy. A prescribing error led to a higher than usual amount of prednisolone being administered.
