Conclusions
A case of extra uterine pregnancy with a surviving mother and baby is reported.
from a review of the literature it is obvious that:—

The complication is rare in developed countries.

2.
If the diagnosis is made an attempt should be made to carry the pregnancy to near term—but only in a specialist maternity hospital.

3.
At laparotomy it is better to remove the placenta and adherent organs if possible.

4.
The maternal and foetal mortality is high.
