1. Brief reference is made to investigations into the incidence of bovine-type non-pulmonary tuberculosis in Great Britain and Ireland.
2. The methods used in the present investigations are described.
3. The finding of 7 bovine-type strains out of a total of 80 examined is recorded.
4. The results of the investigation are stated and their significance discussed briefly.
