Penicillamine induced pemphigus — A report of 2 cases

Summary

Penicillamine is a useful medication prescribed particularly in selected patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Primary Biliary Cirrhosis. It may induce the rare immunological disorder Pemphigus in 1 % of patients treated. We describe two such cases and briefly review the literature.
