Abstract
In several of the reported cases, it may be observed that slight ptyalism was induced. This is not to be wondered at, when it is recollected that the mercury is exhibited in solution; and that arsenic itself is capable of acting on the mouth. Of the latter fact an instance has been lately recorded.
