Laparoscopic diagnosis and resection of a bleeding meckel’s diverticulum in a thirteen year old female

Abstract

Laparoscopy has been described as being safe and effective in the diagnosis and treatment of Meckel’s Diverticulum(1-4). We describe the use of laparoscopy in the diagnosis and resection of a Meckel’s diverticulum in a 13 year old girl.
