Isoimmune neonatal thrombocytopenia in twin infants

Summary

A case of isoimmune neonatal thrombocytopenia in female twin infants is reported. The specificity of the responsible antibody has not yet been identified due to incomplete documentation of platelet antigenic systems. To our knowledge this is the first case report of the disorder occuring in a twin pregnancy.
