Computed tomography of the adrenal gland in hypertension

Abstract

Computed tomography (CT) is a rapid, safe, and accurate method to detect or exclude the presence of an adrenal mass. CT should be the first imaging procedure in patients with biochemical evidence of pheochromocytoma. Cushing’s syndrome, or primary aldosteronism.
