Summary
The paucity of descriptions of pneumothorax in association with the Ehlers-Danlos syndrome has led to the assertion that the association is coincidental rather than a consequence of the underlying connective tissue disorder. We report such an association and suggest that its true incidence may be much higher than previously thought due to the wide spectrum of severity and diversity of clinical features of the syndrome.
