Statistical analysis and results of a Tuberculin survey carried out in Cork city and county, 1944–1946

Summary

During the years 1944–46 a survey was made of the pupils attending the National Schools (Primary) in Cork City and suburbs. A total of 7,319 pupils (boys and girls), ages 1 to 16, were tested using the Mantoux tuberculin test in three dilutions 1 in 10,000, 1 in 1,000 and 1 in 100.
