Zusammenfassung

Der Begriff der subjektiven Wahrscheinlichkeit begegnet vielfacher Kritik in der Statistischen Literatur. Besonders nachdrücklich wird diese Kritik in dem kürzlich erschienenen Buch von Kofler und Menges “Entscheidungen bei unvollständiger Information” vorgetragen. Der vorliegende Aufsatz setzt sich mit deren Argumenten kritisch auseinander und versucht sie (wenigstens zum Teil) zu widerlegen. Implizite wird damit der Wahrscheinlichkeitssubjektivismus verteidigt.

Summary

The concept of subjective probability meets with various criticism in the statistical literature. This critique has been advanced very emphatically by Kofler and Menges in their recent book “Entscheidungen bei unvollständiger Information”. This paper examines their arguments critically and tries to refute them (at least in part). Implicitely probability subjectivism is defended thereby.

Résumé

La notion de la probabilité subjective trouve considerable critique dans la litérature statistique. Cette critique est exposée particulièrement emphatique dans le livre qui vient de paraitre de Kofler et Menges “Entscheidungen bei unvollständiger Information”. L’article présent expose leurs arguments et essaye à les réfuter (au moins en partie). Implicitement le subjectivisme de probabilité est défendu avec cela.

Понятие субьективная вероятность часто критикуется в статистической литературе. Особенно резка эта критика в новейшей книге Кофлера и Менгеса “Решения при неполной информации”. Эта статья критически анализирует аргументы авторов выше упомянутой книги и пытается опорвергнуть их (по крайней мере частично), что является выражением защиты субщективизма вероятности.
