Zwei Charakterisierungen eines “idealen” Index für vier Faktoren

Zusammenfassung

Für bestimmte statistische Fragestellungen ist die Verwendung von Indexformeln für mehr als zwei Faktoren zweckmäßig. Schon 1945 hat Siegel dazu eine Verallgemeinerung des “idealen” Index von Fisher hergeleitet. Zwei 1976 und 1978 veröffentlichte Charakterisierungen des “idealen” Index von Fisher wurden in einer vorangehenden Arbeit des Autors auf die Siegelsche Indexformel für den Fall dreier Faktoren übertragen. In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird nachgewiesen, daß die entsprechenden Funktionalgleichungen auf den Fall von vier Faktoren verallgemeinert werden können und zwar so, daß der Fall dreier Faktoren als Spezialfall enthalten ist. Die Arbeit schließt mit einer Bemerkung über den Fall von fünf und mehr Faktoren; es wird gezeigt, daß dafür zusätzliche Funktionalgleichungen erforderlich sind.

Summary

For specific ranges of statistical questions it is expedient to use index formulas for more than two factors. As early as 1945, Siegel had derived a generalization of the “ideal” index of Fisher. Two characterizations of the “ideal” index of Fisher published in 1976 and 1978 have in a previous paper of the author been generalized to the index formula of Siegel for the case of three factors. The present paper demonstrates that the relevant functional conditions may be genralized to the case of four factors in such a way that the case of three factors is included as a special case. The paper concludes with some remarks concerning the case of five and more factors; it is shown that additional functional conditions are needed for this purpose.

Résumé

Pour certaines interrogations statistique, il y a avantage d’utiliser des formules d’indice pour plus de deux facteurs. Dès 1945, Siegel avait développé à cet effet une généralisation de l’indice “idéal” de Fisher. Deux caratérisations de l’indice “idéal” de Fisher publiées en 1976 et 1978 ont été transposées par l’auteur, dans une étude précédente, avec la formule d’indice de Siegel pour le cas de trois facteurs. La présente étude démontre que les conditions fonctionelles correspondantes peuvent être généralisées pour le cas de quatre facteurs, de maniére que le cas de trois facteurs y soit compris comme cas spécial. L’étude se termine par une réflexion sur le cas de cinq facteurs et plus; il est démontré que pour cela on a besoin de conditions fonctionnelles supplémentaires.

Для определенных статистических вопросов является целесообразным применение индексньх формуд для больше чем двух факторов. уже в 1945 г. Зигель вывел к зтому обобщение “идеального” индекса фишера.

В предыдущей работе переносились две недавно опубликованные характеристики “идеального” индекса фишера при помощи надлежащих функциональных условий на индексную формулу Зигеля, а то на случай трех факторов.

В настоящей работе обобщается этот перенос на индексную формулу зигеля на случай четырех факторов, а именно так, что случай трех факторов включается как специальный случай. Работа заключается замечанием относительно случая больше чем четыре фактора.
