Summary

A decision rule in the analysis of variance is being considered where the total experiment is carried out in a sequence of subexperiments. Such a test has the same continuation interval (a,b) in all stages. This interval will be determined by minimizing the Bayes risk. We investigated extensively how the continuation interval and the Bayes risk depend on the various decision parameters. In particular, we made a comparison with corresponding finitestage decision rules.
