The valuation of life for damages purposes in lawsuits: A pedagogical note

Abstract

This note outlines a practical approach for the valuation of the total life of a deceased human being. The outline is especially suitable for presentation to a court of law as an aid in determining damages and represents a modest extension of the work by Stan, Smith and other scholars.
