In questo articolo si esamina il comportamento asintotico, per grandi valori dik, delle radici λ k j dell'equazione Ek (γ) ove con Ek (λ) si indicano i polinomi di Eulero. Si danno due differenti formule che esprimono il comportamento dei λ k j , l'una dappertutto tranne che nell'intorno dell'∞, e l'altra nell'intorno dell'∞.

Summary

In the present article the asymptotic behaviour is examined, for large values ofk, of the roots λ k j of the equation Ek (λ), having denoted by Ek (λ) the Euler polynomials. Two different formulas are given, which express the behaviour of λ k j , one everywhere except in the neighbourhood of ∞, the other in the neighbourhood of ∞.
