Sunto
Illustrato il concetto di propagazione della luce, si discute il valore delle varie determinazioni sperimentali di essa, con particolare riferimento ad una supposta diminuzione di tale velocità col trascorrere del tempo. Si mostra la connessione fra il problema della velocità della luce e le teorie cosmologiche relativistiche. Si dànno alcuni essenziali chiarimenti astronomici sugli argomenti svolti.
