Summary
The notion ofA-integral seems useful in the study of invariant integrals in spaces of arbitrary dimensionality. The definition of these is given below. In particular, the classicalDaniell integral is a special case of anA-integral. An example is given of anA-integral wich is defined for aBanach algebra of continuous functions ƒ(x), wherex is a point on the unit sphere of aHilbert space, and which is invariant under all rotations of the sphere into itself.
