Sunto

Summary

Certain properties of monomolecular films and of ionic micelles, as well as some characteristics of ferroelectric and ferromagnetic substances, call attention to the importance of interfacial energy and the possibilities intrinsic to the double layers. Spectacular results have been achieved in transistors, in secondary oil recovery and in methods of hail prevention.
