Abstract
A capillary-reservoir method was used to measure diffusion coefficients in liquid cadmium-lead mixtures at 350°C. Self and mutual diffusion coefficients first were determined using radioactive isotopes of cadmium and lead to measure concentrations. Mutual diffusion coefficients then were determined using chemical analysis to measure concentrations. Experimental results compare favorably with those predicted by Darken's equation.
