Multiplicity correlations and KNO scaling in pion-nucleus interactions

Summary

In this paper we report some results on correlations between different particle multiplicities and from this study it has been observed that the number of grey tracks,N g is the best measure of number of encounters made by the incident hadron inside a nucleus. An attempt has also been made to study the scaling of the multiplicity distribution of charged showed particles.
