Quark matter equation of state with Hartree-Fock approximation

  • Published:
Zeitschrift für Physik C Particles and Fields

Abstract

Both the MIT bag model and potential models are able to reproduce with reasonable accuracy static hadron properties. However while extending the MIT bag model to compute the quark matter equation of state is straightforward, this is not so for potential models. Here this is attempted, starting from a Dirac equation in the Hartree-Fock approximation.
