Abstract
Most high-energy collisions result in multiparticle productions. It is important to understand them and to have a simple description of their distributions. Continuing our previous work, which showed that the seemingly complicated multiparticle distributions produced in high energy collisions can be described by the explicit mathematical expressions derived from the simplest statistical model: the one-dimensional Ising model, here we give more comparisons with data. The expressions obtained for the multiplicity distributionsP δξ with two parameters of the model fit well the NA22 data. Our explicit expression for\(\tilde F_q [F_2 ]\) as a universal function ofF 2 with no free parameters compares very well with the NA35 data. We also show the comparisons of our theoretical results with the cumulant moment data of EMU01 and EMU08. It is important to find out from the fundamental theory of strong interactions why these simple expressions work so well.
