  8. In judging this success, one has to bear in mind that some experimental results are affected with large systematic errors, especially at high energies; as discussed in ref. (6),B. Diu:Analysis of the forward npand ppcharge-exchange amplitudes at intermediate and high energies, Paris preprint PAR-LPTHE 73-1, it may be more significant to concentrate on the relative values of dσ/dt in the range 0≤-t≲2μ2.
