Large-angle two-body reactions at high energy

Summary

We analyse large-angle exclusive scattering at high energy in the theoretical framework of the massive quark model. We present a detailed calculation of the hadronic amplitudes for many two-body reactions. Our predictions for pp, π+-p elastic scattering are compared with existing data and we give several predictions for some specific inelastic channels, which are expected to be measured in a not too distant future.

Nell'ambito del modello a quark pesanti si analizza l'urto esclusivo ad alta energia e a grande angolo. Si presenta un calcolo dettagliato delle ampiezze adroniche per molte reazioni a due corpi. Si confrontano le previsioni per l'urto elastico pp, π+-p con i dati esistenti e si danno previsioni per alcuni specifici canali anelastici che saranno misurati nel prossimo futuro.

Мы анализируем инклюзивное рассеяние на большие угды при высоких энергиях в рамках теоретической модели массивных кварков. Проводятся подробные вычисления адронных амплитуд для большого числа двухчастичных реакций. Наши вычисления для pp, π+-p упругого рассеяния сравниваются с имеющимися данными и мы приводим предсказания для некоторых специфических неупругих каналов, которые, как ожидается, могут быть измерены в ближайшем будущем.
