Some remarks on charges and their conservation in a classicalSU ₂ yang-mills theory

Summary

For classical Yang-Mills fields ofSU ₂ type the transformation properties of the global Noether charge and the Noether charges contained in finite regions are studied. If one assumes smoothness of the electric fields, these charges can be annihilated by suitable smooth gauge transformations. The same is true for smooth external charges. Smoothness should be regarded as a technical assumption to remain in the framework of the conventional differential geometry.
