Alpha-emulsion nucleus interactions at cosmic-ray energies

Summary

The rapidity and rapidity gap distributions in alphaemulsion nucleus collisions at cosmic-ray energies (TeV region) are presented here. Comparison with the results of nucleon-nucleon and nucleon nucleus interactions in the same range of primary energies are also made. Multiparticle production via cluster formation is discussed.

Si presentano le distribuzioni della rapidità e del gap di rapidità nella collisione tra particelle alfa, emulsione e nucleo ad energie dei raggi cosmici (TeV). Si fa anche un confronto con i risultati delle interazioni nucleone-nucleone e nucleo-nucleo nello stesso intervallo di energie del primario. Si discute la produzione di molte particelle mediante formazione di cluster.

Рассматриваются взаимодействия альфа-частиц с ядерными эмульсиями при энергиях космических лучей (в ТэВ-ой области).
