Energy-Dependent phase-shift analysis of π4He elastic scattering and the existence of π4He excited states

Summary

In the (24÷260) MeV kinetic-energy interval, the energy-dependent phase-shift analysis of π4He elastic scattering is done. The energy dependence is given by the rational-fraction approximants of the partialS-matrix. The search for the stableS-matrix zero-pole pairs in thek and √s complex plane gives some proof for the existence of the π4He excited states in theS, P and, probably,D partial waves.

È stata fatta un'analisi in fase dipendente dall'energia della diffusione elastica π4He nell'intervallo (24÷260) MeV. La dipendenza energetica è data dagli approssimnati di Padé a frazione razionale della matrice parzialeS. La ricerca di coppie di poli e zeri stabili della matriceS nel piano complessok e √s dà alcune prove dell'esistenza di stati eccitati π4He nelle onde parzialiS, P e probabilmenteD.
