On the strength of the author's experience and data collected from the literature, a new practical classification of manifestations of medicinal disease with antibiotic therapy is suggested.
A brief discussion of the clinical characteristics of side-effects of antibiotics is given; those side-effects that are dangerous to life are presented in detail.
The article deals with methods of preventing medicinal disease, and important data on the treatment of already existing side-effects, are included.
