A silicon ion-implanted strip detector for position and energy loss measurements

Summary

A prototype of silicon ion-implanted strip detector is described: the device is composed by twelve 4 mm×50 mm strips connected to fast charge-sensitive preamplifiers so that both energy loss and position of an ionizing particle can be measured. The detector performances, determined in laboratory tests and in a photodisintegration experiment, are also reported.

Si descrive un rivelatore a strip di silicio del tipo ad impiantazione ionica. Tale prototipo è composto da 12 strip di 4 mm×50 mm ed è connesso a preamplificatori veloci in carica, in modo da misurare sia la posizione che la perdita di energia delle particelle ionizzanti. Si riportano, inoltre, le prestazioni del rivelatore sia in laboratorio che in un esperimento di fotodisintegrazione.

Описывается прототип кремниевого детектора. Прибор состоит из двенадцати пластин 4 мм×50 мм, соединенных с предусилителями, так что могут быть измерены положение и энергетические потери ионизирующей частицы. Приводятся результаты испытаний детектора в лабораторных условиях и в эксперименте по фоторасщеплению.
