Solar anisotropy of high-energy cosmic rays

Summary

Cosmic-ray underground data are used together with a newly developed coupling coefficient to determine, by the spectrographic method, features of the high-energy spectrum of solar anisotropy of cosmic rays. It was found that up to an upper effective rigidity boundary,R max, the spectrum has a constant form, then it sharply drops. The value of the upper effective rigidity boundary and the parametera, which determine the power of the source of anisotropy, are found to change with the solar-activity cycle.

Si usano i dati dei raggi cosmici sotterranei insieme con un coefficiente di accoppiamento sviluppato di recente per determinare, per mezzo del metodo spettrografico, caratteristiche dello spettro ad alta energia dell’anisotropia solare dei raggi cosmici. Si è trovato che fino ad un limite massimo di rigidità effettivo,R max, lo spettro ha una forma costante, poi si abbassa repentinamente. Si trova che il valore del limite massimo di rigidità effettivo ed il parametroa, che determinano la potenza della sorgente di anisotropia, cambiano con il ciclo di attività solare.
