Proton scattering calculations from19F

  • Published:
Il Nuovo Cimento A (1965-1970)

Summary

The scattering cross-sections of 17.5 MeV and 30 MeV protons from four low-lying levels in19F are analysed with the coupled-channel method. The target nucleus is interpreted with the model of a rotating particle-core system and the interaction potential is the sum of a macroscopic nonspherical part which takes collective effects into account and a microscopic term which allows for single-particle transitions.
