Necessary and sufficient conditions for conservation of currents generating internal and conformal symmetries

Summary

Assuming that the energy-momentum spectrum is contained in the closed forward light-cone, we prove necessary and sufficient conditions for conservation of translationally covariant and of conformal currents. These theorems can be interpreted as generalizations of Coleman's theorem.
