Infinite-momentum limit of factorizable current algebras

Summary

A simple method of studying factorizable current algebra at infinite momentum is described, starting from the corresponding finitemomentum representations. It is shown that, for these algebras, the infinite-momentum limit of the current commutator is well defined. Other points discussed include the explicit construction of all operators at infinite momentum as functions of their finite-momentum counterparts, the derivation of the decoupled angilar contributions and the mass degeneracy theorem.

Si descrive un metodo semplice per studiare l'algebra delle correnti fattorizzabile ad impulso infinito, partendo dalle corrispondenti rappresentazioni di impulso finito. Si dimostra che per queste algebre il limite di impulso infinito del commutatore della corrente è ben definito. Gli altri punti discussi comprendono l'esplicita costruzione di tutti gli operatori ad impulso infinito come funzioni delle loro controparti di impulso finito, la deduzione delle condizioni angolari disaccoppiate e il teorema della degenerazione della massa.
