Infra-red behaviour of field theories with higher-order derivatives

Summary

The infra-red structure of theories with higher-order derivatives is studied through a simple model. It is found that confinement takes place. We present a formal method which permits one to insert higher-order derivatives in quantum chromodynamics.

Si studia tramite un modello semplice la struttura nell'infrarosso di teorie con derivate di ordine più alto. Si trova che si verifica il confinamento. Si presenta un metodo formale che ci permette di inserire derivate di ordine più alto nella cromodinamica quantistica.
