Prediction of the differential cross-section and the polarization in Kp-Λπ0 scattering at high energy

Summary

The differential cross-section and the polarization of the recently measured reaction Kp-Λπ0 in the backward direction atp L=5 GeV/c are calculated in a parameter-free Regge-pole model with\({\mathcal{N}}_\alpha \) and\({\mathcal{N}}_\gamma \) exchanges. The two residues are determined by exchange degeneracy andSU 3. The predictions for the cross-section and the polarization are in good agreement with experiment.

Si calcolano la sezione d’urto e la polarizzazione della reazione Kp-Λπ0 all’indietro, recentemente misurate ap L=5 GeV/c in un modello del polo di Regge libero da parametri con scambi\({\mathcal{N}}_\alpha \) e\({\mathcal{N}}_\gamma \). Si determinano i due residui per mezzo della degenerazione di scambio e diSU 3. Le predizioni per la sezione d’urto e la polarizzazione sono in buon accordo con gli esperimenti.
