The inverse problem of scattering theory and Riemann's method

Summary

By extending Riemann's method to the case of unbounded domains, a new rigorous approach to the inverse problem of scattering theory is developed. The proposed approach allows one to deal with scattering of bothcharged andneutral particles in the framework of a universalscheme which is also suitable for treating bothreal-andcomplex-angular-momentum cases.

Estendendo il metodo di Riemann al caso di domini illimitati, si sviluppa un nuovo approccio rigoroso al problema inverso della teoria dello scattering. L'approccio proposto permette di trattare lo scattering di particelle sia cariche che neutre nel contesto di unoschema universale che è adatto anche per trattare i casi del momento angolare sia reale che complesso.
