Abstract
Four children with acute lymphatic leukemia developed pulmonary tuberculosis. Three developed tuberculosis soon after the remission was achieved, while one case developed it after 25 months of complete remission. Higher prevalence of tuberculosis in immunocompromised hosts especially in countries where incidence of tuberculosis in high is not well recognised. Early recognition and appropriate treatment of such cases is emphasized.
